About Fiberglass

This construction has numerous advantages over traditional “woven” poles most notably a smooth surface finish and uniform wall thickness. The process is a resin bath in which the specified color has been mixed.

This ensures that every fiber of the pole has been colored (a process not possible with traditional woven construction), allowing the inside of the pole to maintain the color throughout. Sample sections of a pole are available upon request.

According to AASHTO 2001, the pole shall not exceed a maximum deflection of 10% of the pole length above the ground line when subject to the maximum simulated wind loading and shall not have more than 1% permanent deflection.

Features:

  • Corrosion resistant
  • Light weight and high strength
  • Anti-ageing
  • Easy maintenance
  • Excellent electromagnetism property

Pole Specifications:

Lighting Poles are designed to ANSI CI 136.20:19% (Fiberglass Reinforcement Plastic Lighting Pole)

The exterior surface should be smooth and aesthetic, free of cracks, air bubbles, damage or any exposed surface fiber.
